Your heavenly Father knows you need all these things. As we consider Jesus's teaching on worry it is important to remember that he is encouraging us to keep our eyes on the Father heart of God. As a Father provides for his children and takes care of them so we can trust our heavenly Father to do the same. He knows us inside out and has more insight into us than we can ever have. He knows our every need. And we can trust him to supply everything that we need. This is often in conflict with what we want. But we can lay hold of his promise that "all things work together for good to those that love God." He is working out his good purposes in our life even when we can't see it.
I have had insight into that this week. Particularly coupled with his timing.
